Once upon a time, a long, long time ago, Jen Maffett got her BA and BFA in writing and design. Then she went to work at a desk, using words and pictures to help big companies, small companies and also some non-profits communicate their message to the world. As an Internet "pioneer" she began to use words and pictures to create online stories just about the time that using art on the Internet became a reality. Yes, there really was a time when uploading a photo was a big deal! Through dot.com bubbles, mergers and extreme news events, Jen developed content and media products as the Internet became central to so many people's lives. So, now as a Washington County resident, she continues to tell stories with words and pictures ... often reflecting her appreciation and respect for food, farmers, nature and especially the sea.
